この度、私たちの取り組みが、壱岐の新聞各紙に５件掲載されました。

これら一見すると多様な活動のすべては、ある一つの大きな目的に繋がっています。それは、「すべての子どもが幸せに生きる社会の『仕組み』をデザインする」ことです。
この挑戦の中核を担うのが、弊社代表であり、おそらく日本で唯一の肩書きを持つ「離島教育デザイナー」の入江潤です。
なぜ、離島なのか。それは、日本社会全体の仕組みをより良くするためには、都市部からのトップダウンなアプローチだけでなく、課題先進地域である離島や僻地からのボトムアップによる社会づくりの動きが不可欠だと考えているからです。
離島という環境ならではの課題と可能性に向き合い、教育や子ども支援の質を高め、関わるすべての人のウェルビーイング（幸福）を実現する。そのために、学校や行政、地域住民、そして子どもたち自身の「やってみたい」という想いを繋ぎ、形にするのが離島教育デザイナーの役割です。
今回の新聞記事は、その実践例に他なりません。
国際的な視点を育む機会、心を揺さぶる本物の体験、自分たちの手で未来を創る実感。これらは、学校の先生だけ、あるいは地域だけで実現できるものではありません。両者の間に立ち、想いを翻訳し、プロジェクトを円滑に進める「コーディネーター」がいて初めて、持続可能な活動として成立します。
educoreは、このコーディネーター機能を組織として担い、離島における教育の新しいモデルを構築しています。
しかし、この壮大なビジョンは、私たちだけで実現できるものではありません。子どもたちの未来を想う気持ちに、組織や地域の壁は関係ないはずです。この記事を読んで少しでも心が動いたあなたと、私たちは繋がりたいと願っています。

【Featured in the News: Designing the Future for Children with Japan's Only "Remote Island Education Designer】
We are proud to announce that our initiatives have recently been featured in four separate newspaper articles in Iki.
The articles cover a diverse range of activities: an online international exchange with Taiwan, a workshop on peace with a muralist and kamishibai artist, a high school project to create a "third place" for students in a vacant local house, and a student presentation at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
While varied, all these activities are connected to a single, ambitious goal: to design the very "system" for a society in which every child can live a happy and fulfilling life.
At the heart of this challenge is our representative, Jun Irie, a "Remote Island Education Designer"—a title likely unique in Japan.
Why focus on remote islands? Because we believe that to improve the fabric of Japanese society as a whole, it is not enough to rely on top-down approaches from urban centers. It is essential to foster bottom-up movements of social creation, starting from remote and geographically challenged areas that are often the first to face future societal issues.
The role of the Remote Island Education Designer is to address the distinct challenges and potentials of these island environments, enhancing the quality of education and child support while fostering the well-being of everyone involved. This is achieved by connecting and realizing the aspirations of schools, local governments, community members, and the children themselves.
The recent news articles are perfect examples of this philosophy in action.
Opportunities that nurture a global perspective, authentic experiences that stir the soul, and the tangible feeling of creating one's own future—these are not things that teachers or the community can achieve alone. They become sustainable realities only when a "coordinator" stands between them, translating ideas and facilitating projects smoothly.
As an organization, educore embodies this coordinator role, building a new model for education on remote islands.
