「すべての子どもが幸せに生きる社会」の実現に向け、伴走者として、この一ヶ月半、彼らの旅に寄り添ってきました。
「何もない」と言われる島で、彼らが見つけた「宝物」の物語は、きっと、これからの社会を照らす光になる。そう確信しています。
いよいよ8月18日(月)、代表の入江がファシリテーターを務める「Young Islanders Forum Japan in EXPO」が、大阪・関西万博の会場で開催されます。
主役は、北海道奥尻島、長崎県壱岐島、福江島、対馬、そして鹿児島県徳之島から集まった、7人の高校生たちです。
彼らが語るのは、綺麗なだけの観光PRではありません。「タイパ」では測れない時間の価値や「何もない」からこそ生まれる強さ。島のリアルな日常から紡ぎ出した、一人ひとりの魂のメッセージです。
平日の昼間ですが、未来への希望に満ちた彼らの「本気」を、ぜひライブ配信でご覧ください。この挑戦が、皆さんの心を動かし、ご自身の故郷を思うきっかけにもなれば、これほど嬉しいことはありません。

【Hello everyone】
On August 18th, I am honored to be facilitating a truly special event at the Osaka-Kansai Expo's Blue Ocean Dome: the "Young Islanders Forum Japan in EXPO."
The stars of this forum are seven high school students from five of Japan's remote islands. This is not a typical tourism presentation. They will be sharing the unfiltered, real stories of their daily lives—the "treasures" they've discovered in a world that can't be measured by efficiency or convenience.
